Workflow evaluations

Find where the handoff breaks.

Your team already has tools. Start with one place where information, approvals or responsibility get lost between them.

The first conversation

One workflow. A defined question.

Describe the systems involved, the handoff that costs time, and the outcome you want to assess. Sean McElroy will review whether a scoped evaluation is suitable.

Examples include reviewing a maintenance request across tickets and equipment records, or tracing an inspection finding to its source and reviewer. These are areas to discuss, not claims of deployed customer integrations.

A proposed paid evaluation

Agree the work before it starts.

  1. Scope: name the workflow, interfaces, responsible people and exclusions.
  2. Review: assess access, compatibility, data requirements and technical gaps.
  3. Evidence: document what was observed, what remains unproven and whether to proceed.

A bounded demonstrator may be included when the interfaces, permissions and available capabilities support it. Initial work can use read-only, simulated or disposable targets. Deliverables, price and timing are agreed in writing for the specific scope.

Inspect the approach

See the boundary in action.

In our public network example, a missing approval keeps a maintenance request on hold. Restoring the fictional record changes its review status; it does not execute network work.
