Built from relevant experience

Created by Sean McElroy from lived experience as a left below-knee amputee who returned to walking and riding after a severe motorcycle crash.

Fit and boundary

Designed for: Adult riders with limb loss and the family members, prosthetists, rehabilitation professionals, and motorcycle professionals supporting them.

Not for: Not medical advice, rehabilitation instruction, prosthetic prescription, motorcycle training, or clearance to ride.

Important boundary: This guide shares lived-experience planning methods. It is not medical advice, rehabilitation instruction, prosthetic prescription, motorcycle training, or a determination that any person is safe to ride. Clinical and riding decisions belong to the rider and qualified professionals.
